Wrapping up the presents...

Christmas Thoughts . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Anonymous
"It’s sharing your gifts, not purchasing gifts;
It’s not wrapping presents, its being present
and wrapping your arms around the ones you love;
It’s not getting Christmas cards out on time,
It’s sending any card, anytime, at the right time;
It’s not having the biggest and best Christmas light display,
It’s displaying the Christ light that comes from your heart;
It’s not Santa coming down the chimney,
It’s Jesus coming down from heaven,
and giving us the gift of eternal life."

These are some presents from last year, all wrapped up and ready to be opened.  Last year there were 9 of us, including for the first time, my new little grandson, Dylan.

This year I am in Tennessee with Larry and Millie so it will be quieter. I wonder if Father Christmas will find us over here?

As the cards go out and the shopping gets done and we remember all our friends and family, near and far, I want to wish you all a very happy Christmas.

I love the way John Lennon says it!

There is always HOPE.

It may be quiet but Christmas is Christmas wherever you are and whoever you're with. Enjoyed listening to John Lennon again.

Merry Christmas, Star! Wishing you all the best in 2012. I get to spend this Christmas with my grandson, so I feel doubly blessed. He's four and the magic is strong!
