As we prepare for Christmas, amidst the hustle and bustle of the shops and all the other things we have to do, let's take a moment to enjoy the simple things of life, like this beautiful English robin that I found on YouTube this morning. He's so tame, I'm sure he's done this before lots of times.
Have a lovely Saturday everybody and don't get too fraught, will you.

What a great photo header, Star; perfection!
I really enjoyed the video. The robin sure was tame, delightfully so. Hope things are going well for you.
So this is an English robin. So delicate in appearance, yet so bold!I enjoyed this video Star, very much!
BTW, I like your new header, especially the spinning wheel.
Cheeky little Robin - and that's for sure. These little red-breasts are a joy to watch when in the garden, doing a bit of digging. Leave the spade stuck in the earth and the Robin will perch on the handle and watch you intently, obviously waiting for a treat!
They're darling. Ours are much larger, rather long and lean. English robin faces resemble our bluebirds. http://www.statesymbolsusa.org/New_York/bird_E_bluebird.html They aren't always this blue. Must be a male in spring.
Here's a good picture of an American robin.
