It's always nice to have a table centrepiece for the the Christmas table. I managed to pick up this one, which I think is very pretty with the bright red cardinal birds on it. It looks nice under the lamp where the light picks up all the details.
Also managed to get these lovely placemats, also with cardinals on and some pretty napkin holders with holly berries.
So we're almost ready! We have leg of lamb for tomorrow, see below. Christmas pudding will follow.
and afterwards, a nice walk in the countryside to freshen ourselves up. Maybe it will snow or maybe not. My guess is not! but that's o.k. because with the snow comes the cold and it's quite mild here in Knoxville at the moment.
This is a picture of the brook near the apartments, taken on a previous snowy Christmas.
This is the nativity scene we have on display. I think it looks grand, don't you?
What are you having for your Christmas dinner?

Love the mats and the centre piece. No snow here but the sunrise was a picture this morning. Christmas fare at the local hotel will be varied, I haven't seen the menu yet. The atmosphere will be very Christmassy as will the getting together with friends. Enjoy your day.
