Millie

This is Millie's scratching post, also known as our pouffe! Like many cats, she prefers the furniture to scratch on, but she knows she's not allowed.  However, we relax the rule for the pouffe because that can be more easily replaced.

She often has a wash after she's done something naughty...

...but when she's asleep, she is just as cute as can be.

All together now,  ahhhhhhhhh! Click to enlarge and see her speckly feet.

She really looks like she's smiling in this next one, doesn't she?

All curled up in her own special basket.

I'm sending hugs and kisses to my other cat, Patch, across the water too.

We might get snow tomorrow.  The weather is already feeling colder.  I've been eating turkey soup for the last three days.

What's the weather like in your part of the world today?

Isn't she a beautiful girl, all those different colors !
Oliver has never scratched the furniture...that I know of, but he sure can scratch the trees :)
Cold here again tonight, rainy and a few snow showers mixed in.
Break out the hot chocolate :)

I was wondering if you've read the book "Cleo" by Helen Brown.
Wonderful story, and she told me the book is being made into a film soon.
Warning:you might need a box of tissues handy while reading it.
Made me want to get a cat again, but my two dogs are enough for now.
And they don't scratch the furniture,as an added bonus.-)

Lovely pictures of Millie. I do wish I could have a pet again. Weather? Not to bad here, getting colder though. This time last year we had thick snow... I should be grateful we don't have it again ... yet.

She has done some SERIOUS DAMAGE, hasn't she? But as you have shown with your pictures, she's just too too cute. :-)

The closeups are like abstract art!

Millie looks quite naughty but, still, adorable.
Merry Christmas Star; thank you for your kind comments to me; they have helped.
